Large antique Yuan blue and white china plater by Wood and Sons

• Early Yuan marks and date stamp December 1927
• Superb bright example oval serving platter
• 14-3/8th-inches by 11-1/8th-inches oval serving platter.
• Yuan is a widely collected blue & white pattern and is the work of Frederick Rhead
• Very similar to the Furnivals Old Chelsea.
• The central decoration is from an early copper plate transfer
• 3 kiln support marks in the glaze on the rear as is expected,
  
• Rare near mint condition
