Antique Yuan blue and white china plater by Wood and Sons

  • Early Yuan marks circa 1916-1920
  • Superb bright example oval serving platter
  • 12.25-inches by 9.75-inches oval serving platter.
  • Yuan is a widely collected blue & white pattern and is the work of Frederick Rhead
  • Very similar to the Furnivals Old Chelsea.
  • The central decoration is from an early copper plate transfer
  • 3 kiln support marks in the glaze on the rear as is expected,
  • Some small knife marks.

Vintage Fantastic
