Rare English Aesthetic style Alexadria Rd No 39268 pattern earthenware blue and white china rectangular lidded serving dish or tureen
Alexandria was registered on the 8th December 1885 by Wallis Gimson & Co. and was produced in pale blue red brown and black versions
Manufactured at the Lane Delph Pottery Fenton
10.75-inch long by 6.25-inch wide and 5.5-inch tall to the lid handle
Condition note The lid has a small stable crack as shown in the video, however the base has a stable crack in the base of the tureen extending out and upwards to the rim. extensive glaze crazing and staining
Date range 1885-1890 Staffordshire
This is a very rare piece of pale blue and white aesthetic china and while the base has some damage, it is still usable and displays beautifully.
