• Vintage Ironstone oval platters intended for use as dining plates, these platters can be used for display, serving or dining.
• Manufactured by Salem China Co. Olde Staffordshire Underglaze ironstone permanent colur stamps Salem England
• The English Village pattern is in shades of blue against a off-white background. It depicts a cottage along side a river with rowing boats on the river bank and flowers. There is a lady on the bridge over the river, just watching the flow of the water and another lady feeding chickens . The rim of the plate has a floral pattern all the way around.
• Mid 20th century
• 12-3/8th-inch long by 10.5-inch oval platter plate
• Excellent vintage condition
• Quite rare
