Wonderful Vintage Minton pattern H5066 Brocade Coffee Cup and saucer from 1956
- 2.25-inch rim diameter straight sided small coffee cup 2-3/8th-inch tall
- Round loop handle with tfull gilt
- Thin porcelain with superb turquoise and gilt outer wall decoration and a floral inner wall motif
- 5-inch diameter saucer with curved plain rim
- Mintons England globe and crown marks
- Minton factory inprint stamp on saucer
- Very good used vintage condition
- Make exceptional double espresso cups.

I enjoy a cup of tea and sometimes a mug just will not do.
What you need is a cup of quality to drink from.
You can buy new ones from any number of shops but a quality make will cost an arm and a leg and some beautiful designs are no longer made.
I came across Vintage Farmhouse antiques quite by chance and found they had just what I was looking for. Really lovely quality cups and saucers, amongst other things, and the best of makes, naturally secondhand but therefore a lot cheaper.
I chose an Art Deco tea cup that could be brand new but was actually nearly one hundred years old, also a small coffee cup for the occasional coffee, not that I drink much coffee, but the design was too nice to not to buy.
They arrived really well packaged with instructions that all the packaging could be recycled, which it was.
I haven't had the pleasure of using either because my wife whipped them away.
" I'll wrap them up for Christmas." she said.
So I am going to have to wait a few days before my special cup of tea,
