• Early and rare Ahsworth Bros Ironstone china
• B9178 pattern sometimes called Chaffinch, with wild rose full colour borders and pink breasted bird
• 10-3/8th-inch wide rimmed English dinner plate
• c1861 - 1891 manufacturing date range.
• Hand coloured transfer decoration 
• In very good bright antique condition 
• Ashworth brothers also produced B9178 and would subsequently evolve to produce Mason's Ironstone china.
• This early piece has Mason's patent ironstone china round crown banner marks hand applied B9178 decorators marks
• A lovely piece of rare ironstone for collectors
• Condition note all these dinner plates have fine glaze crazing with staining as shown in the video.
