18.75-inch by 14.5-inch Royal Worcester platter set in an substantial antique metal wire hanger.
Indistinct factory stamp and date impress probably 1923
The design is a Worcester interpretation of Bowpot but is often mistaken for Indian Tree
The platter is in good condition with bright pattern colour and good glaze condition. There a a few small ware areas from the old hangers on the underside of the rims none of which are visible from the front.
An impressive and large, very rare piece of Worcester.
