This tureen while in good antique condition has some linear glaze crazing and minor staining in the tureen base a two small under rim chips as shown, there is also a molding flaw in the lid, which while not visible renders a crease very thin.
Ashworth brothers were subsequently to produce Mason's Ironstone china.
This early piece has Ashworth printed crown and banner marks
