• Blue pattern 900 Imari transfer printed and hand coloured English Bone China made by Doric China Co at the Clarence works on Longton between 1926 and 1948
  
• 3-5/8th-inch diameter plain rim  teacup 2-5/8th-inch tall
• 5-5/8th-inch diameter plain rim saucer with rich gilt
• 6.75-inch diameter round side plate plain rim rich gilt
  
• Imari pattern in very rich three colour hand applied over umber brown transfer design
• Date period factory stamp 1926 - 1948, but very likely late 1920s
  
• Very good condition with antique very good gilt, and very bright glaze some cobalt smudging and soot inclusions in the glaze
  
• Classic Doric China Co Brown crown marks.
  
• Doric China specialised in variations on the imari style, formerly Beresford Bros, the factory would merge with Royal Albion before transferring production and pattern books to the Jason China Co Ltd in 1948
• These examples are typical of the rich, but elegant versions of imari decoration being produced by Doric with both inner and outer wall decoration of the teacup.
