Woods Westover pattern
The cup is octagonal but flares out a bit at the top to a circular rim. It's petite size makes it very charming. The saucer is octagonal and may have some crazing.
Beautiful design which includes people on bridges, pagodas and swallows, perhaps a nod to the Willow and Alva patterns.
Blue transferware with hand-applied ocre enamel and ocre rims
Cup - 2.75-Inch Diameter, 2-Inch tall, Saucer - 4.5-Inch across
Pattern was registered in 1928 (No.737159) but began production in 1925
The stamp may show DBC which actually is the retailer whom the piece was made for.
