• Beautiful large 10.25-inch English Wide Rim Soup Bowl or plate in the pattern Oriental
  
• Manufactured by William Ridgway Shelton, Stoke-upon-Trent England  before 1834
  
• Oriental in pastel blue and white
  
• The border is decorated in panel scenes from the orient with garland infill
  
• The central portion is well-filled with the blockwork image which extends to the inner scroll border
• Date range 1830-1834
• Some antique glaze ware and light crazing with minor staining  on the underside and shown and as expected for the age 
• Absolutely stunning.
• A rare surviving example.
