• In the second quarter of the 19th Century Minton introduced Chinoise designs including Chinese Tree and Indian Tree. The earliest production pieces in the 1830s were entirely hand painted. these examples date from the 1840s-1860s and are fine hand coloured transfer printed examples
• Chinese Tree was decorated in a range of colours these examples are variation 2067 which was the most popular.
  
• 5.75-inch diameter saucer, no well, curved rising sides to a gentle scalloped rim with no central well as was the design for these dates
  
• All pieces with puce decorative makers marks and decorators 2067 colour indicators
  
• Date range circa 1840 - 1860
