English Staffordshire Blue Willow pattern antique meat platter
1820-1840 possibly earlier with multiple transfer creases and smudges and sooty glaze inclusions
15.25 inch by 12-inch classic blue willow ironstone china meat platter.
Probably by Ashworth Bros as they were using the Crown Iron Stone China branding during this period although this cannot be confirmed from this stamp mark.
Note the fish like splayed tails of the two birds which is unique to this design version
