Sampson Smith began producing Earthenware in 1846 and moved to Bone China in the 1920s making this an early example of his work in this area.
This large sugar bowl is white thin black lines around the top and bottom rims, with a decorative border of blue and white stripes and finished with pink flowers with green leaves for a beautiful touch of colour.
