Antique English late Victorian floral china Turquoise Blue and White Grecian Pattern 4-piece Sauce Tureen Set
Made by Sampson Bridgwood & Son at the Anchor Works, Sutherland Road, Longton.
A fine example of the popular Grecian (sometimes printed Gredian pattern)
Date range 1860-1887
Used Antique condition with heavy gilt surface and fine glaze crazing with brown staining as shown

The Anchor works produced both china and earthenware. In china, all the usual tea, breakfast, and dessert services were made - partly for the home, but principally for the United States and Canadian markets.
