• 17.25-inches by 14-inches large ovoid pale grey and white china Parma design serving platter
• Rare fine example of Powell & Bishop Ironstone
  
• This platter dates from between 1867 and 1878 and is an outstanding example of the Ironstone china produced in Staffordshire around this period.
• P & B Parma marks as shown
  
• Beautiful antique patina with triple kilm support marks and ware to the base plate, absolutely right for the age
  
• A wonderful antique display pieces of grey and white Staffordshire made by Powel & Bishop who by 1868 would partner with Stonier and go on to form Bishop & Stonier, to produce the World famous Bisto and Oriental Ivory China ranges
• This is a large and rare platter, we have not been able to identify another coming to the market in recent years.
