• Decorators 2308 in antique hand font
• Early English shape with full hand coloured Peony tree design with rare yellow inner rim infill
• Superb large and impressive round oblong platter 22.5-inch by 14.25-inch, rising to 1.5-inch at the rims
• This stunning pared back version of a Chinese inspired design is characteristic of English Staffordshire production between 1810 and 1840
• There is light brown staining on the platter surface as shown
• Very good antique condition, consistent with use over its 200 years of age
