• 10.25-inch Earthenware China with antique factory marks manufactured in Burslem Staffordshire by John Maddock
• Campanie pattern in pale blue and white transferware with superb detailing.
• Antique patina as expected made between 1839 and 1842
• Scalloped border with antique ware to glaze.
• Beautiful powder blue and white design.
• This plate came from a private collection and is in a 19th Century hand crafted hanging rack It has universal fine glaze crazing and on stable barely visible  rim crack approx 3cm long (stable) 
• One of the nicest pieces of antique Maddock blue and white Staffordshire we have handled from this period in some time. 
• Campanie is a rare pattern and  incorporates some of the classic rim and blockwork details used by John Maddock across a range of design series around this period
