A superb antique Fruit stand in Green, Gilt and floral design
A rare and fine 19th Century antique dessert service table stand in the form of a high pedestal footed fruit bowl
Probably Dresden or Limoge in origin, no makers or pattern marks.
10-inch diameter Tcurved sided bowl stand with molded gilt beading design in fine swags and inner wall green and gilt wide border design with hand painted floral blocks.
4-5/8th-inch tall on a hollow pedestal base plate 4-5/8th-inch diameter
Date range 1830 -1870
In very good antique condition with some minor gilt ware as shown.
This Fruit stand would have formed the center decoration of a breakfast or dinner set and would have been used for presenting pastries, cakes and breads and fruit
