Rare antique Felix and Richard Pratt earthenware china hand decorated Teacup and saucer in design No 66
- F & R pratt & Co factory stamp and crown impress marks 66 pattern stamp marks on saucer
- 3-5/8th-inch diameter teacup
- 5.75-inch plain rim saucer with no well
- Pattern design No 66 is very characteristic of the imported Chinoise decoration style so popular during this period and being copied by the Staffordshire potteries, and features a water pagoda and gardens
- Date range 1820 - 1850
- This is a very fine example of the early Pratt china
- Used antique condition with some ware to the umber rim glaze as shown, please watch the video
- Lovely antique patina and approaching 200 years old.
- Felix Edward Pratt and Richard Pratt were sons of William Pratt a master potter at Lane Delph, Fenton around 1753. the sons formed F & R Pratt in 1818 at the Fenton Pottery on east street Fenton Stoke on Trent and became well know for Pratt ware especially pot lids.
