Rare antique Felix and Richard Pratt earthenware china Roman Ruins decorated Tazza or Comport Stand in design No 123

  • F & R pratt & Co creamware body with central scene of roman ruins with repetitive neoclassical border motifs in cream.
  • factory stamp marks 123 
  • 9-inch plain rim plate on a 2-1/8th inch short stem and 5.5-inch hollow base plate
  • Date range 1820 - 1850
  • This is a very fine example of the early Pratt china
  • Used antique condition with some minor staining and glaze crazing as shown, please watch the video
  • Lovely antique patina and approaching 200 years old.
  • Felix Edward Pratt and Richard Pratt were sons of William Pratt a master potter at Lane Delph, Fenton around 1753. the sons formed F & R Pratt in 1818 at the Fenton Pottery on east street Fenton Stoke on Trent and became well know for Pratt ware especially pot lids.
