• 8.25-inch square serving plate extending to 9.5-inch between the handles plain rim
  
• Imari pattern in very rich five colour hand applied over umber brown transfer design
• Date period factory stamp 1926 - 1948, but very likely late 1920s
  
• Used antique condition with antique remnants of gilt, but very bright glaze
  
• Classic Doric China Co Brown winged orb marks.
  
• Doric China specialised in variations on the imari style, formerly Beresford Bros, the factory would merge with Royal Albion before transferring production and pattern books to the Jason China Co Ltd in 1948
