Superb blue and white ironstone china from 1855 Davenport Friburg dinner plate
Superb collector's piece of early rare Davenport blue and white ironstone china.Â
Factory imprinted mark 1855
10-5/8th-inch diameter dinner plate rising to 1.25-inches at the rims.
Superb Davenport transfer detail and the weight and feel of this plate.
This is one of my favorite pieces, aesthetically the size and quality of the transfer is just right. It's also incredibly rare in this fine condition for a piece approaching 170 years of age. Altogether, just stunning!
