• Superb collector's piece of early rare Davenport blue and white ironstone china. 
• 10-5/8th-inch diameter dinner plate rising to 1.25-inches at the rims.
• Impress mark around anchor 44 for 1844, video was made before we dated this plate.
• Davenport's Rhine pattern is a series of apparently imaginary scenes along the River Rhine in Germany. It was also known as Rhenish Views
• Superb Davenport transfer detail and the weight and feel of this plate.
• This is one of my favorite pieces, aesthetically the size and quality of the transfer is just right. It's also incredibly rare in this fine condition for a piece approaching 180 years of age. Altogether, just stunning!
