Antique pair of solid polished brass English Candlesticks
10.75-inches tall on 4.25-inch square base plates

Superb quality brass with loads of ware marks burnishes and asymmetry, especially around the wax catchers give this pair an enormous amount of character.
The candlesticks are early Victorian with seam marks partly visible on both sticks, indicating the stems were cast in two parts and welded together.

The Candlesticks have not been highly polished and are shown in their natural condition as purchased.
