Caring for your vintage and antique china tea wares 

  • Most items were made before dishwashers so unless the teaware says it is dishwasher safe it is best to wash gently by hand. Avoid sudden temperature changes.
  • For gilded or painted decoration, avoid harsh scrubbing. Soft sponge + mild detergent is best.
  • Allow to air dry completely before stacking to prevent chips.
