Originally the Star China Company, Paragon was adopted as the trading company name in 1919 until it incorporated in 1930 into Paragon China Ltd. Paragon prospered during the 1940's and 1950's but was acquired by T C Wild's in 1960 before this was absorbed into Allied Potteries Group, and finally Royal Doulton Group during the decline of the Satffordshire potteries.
We stock many beautiful antique and vintage Paragon china pieces
Paragon bone china was produced at the Atlas Works, close to paragon Road in Longton Stoke on Trent and the Paragon branding continued in production until 1989, some with dual Paragon Royal Albert stamps, but was discontinued in 1991.
As with many of the brands acquired into the surviving Royal Doulton Group, paragon patterns were re-issued as Royal Albert china during the 1990's
