I found this piece recently on the North Norfolk Coast and instantly recognised it as something special. It dates from the late Victorian period, the quality, intricate detailing and workmanship all suggest one of the better quality continental porcelain producers, porbably Dresden or Limoge, likely Dehavilland if I was pushed. The fact it has no factory marks arn't a problem as during this period many of the best pieces were made for sole sale by the larger China warehouses so it fits that the manufacturing pottery did not show their factory marks.
