Antique Bridgwoods China May 5932
Late Victorian bone china is becoming increasingly hard to find, and to find it is such fine condition is extremely rare. These fine bone china teacup trios were made between 1884 and 1889 and hark back to a period of fine English bone china design and manufacture.
Sampson Bridgwood & Sons pottery was at its peak. The pattern was one of their best selling lines, produced in a variety of colour variations including a pure blue and white version, used in the potteries directory listing on thepotteries.org
This is the multi-colour version of May pattern ref 5932 and it is absolutely stunning
